Pueri Cantores is the national student choral organization of the Catholic Church in the United States. Internationally, the organization is headquartered in the Vatican and involves 60,000 singers from schools and parishes in 30 countries. In the United States, the American Federation is growing at a dramatic rates. This year, nearly 70 dioceses will be served by regional student choral festivals throughout the nation.


Parish and school choirs gather together at cathedrals and other architecturally significant church buildings to prepare and present music representative of the broad and treasured Catholic tradition - from Gregorian chant to masterworks of the Twentieth Century. The individual choirs are combined into one large choral ensemble, with nationally recognized conductors brought in to conduct the festival choirs. Local bishops and cardinals often preside at the festival liturgies.  Between festivals, this musical repertoire can be sung as needed in local or diocesan masses and other liturgies.
